Angela Draper

I am a Dyslexia and Dyscalculia Specialist, accredited by AMBDA and hold a current APC, with the expertise to conduct diagnostic assessments and provide specialist tutoring.

With over 25 years of teaching experience across educational levels from nursery to university, I have worked extensively in mainstream and SEND settings, including primary, secondary, and SEN schools.

​

My approach integrates a variety of personalised strategies designed to support both the academic development and emotional well-being of children and young people with specific learning difficulties. I have studied counselling skills and life coaching, and I regularly apply these techniques in my work with students. Recognising the importance of mental health, I have also trained as a Mental Health First Aider and a Place2Be Mental Health Champion. I am deeply passionate about fostering both the academic success and emotional growth of learners with specific learning needs.

​I imagine a world where every child can learn, grow, thrive and become a confidence, well-rounded individual.  I believe that with proper academic and emotional support, children can achieve great things.
