Angela Draper

PGCert Dyslexia (AMBDA), PGCert Dyscalculia
I have a current APC, AMBDA, Enhanced DBS and Professional Indemnity Insurance.
I am a qualified Dyslexia and Dyscalculia Specialist, accredited by AMBDA and holding a current APC, with the expertise to conduct diagnostic assessments and provide specialist tutoring.

With over 25 years of teaching experience across all educational levels, from Nursery to University, I have worked extensively in mainstream and SEND settings, including Primary, Secondary, and SEN schools.

My approach integrates a variety of personalised strategies designed to support both the academic development and emotional well-being of children and young people with specific learning difficulties. I have studied counselling skills and life coaching, and I regularly apply these techniques in my work with students. Recognising the importance of mental health, I have also trained as a Mental Health First Aider and a Place2Be Mental Health Champion. I am deeply passionate about fostering both the academic success and emotional growth of learners with specific learning needs.

I envision a world where every child has the opportunity to learn, grow, and thrive with confidence, developing into a well-rounded individual. With the right academic and emotional support, I believe children are capable of achieving extraordinary things.
